Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN with Labor & Delivery experience and active OK or compact license for night shift assignments.
Responsibilities- Position is in a hospital labor and delivery unit
- Provides care for expectant mothers and newborns before, during, and after childbirth
- Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, manage pain including epidurals, and assist with both vaginal and surgical deliveries
- Educate families on postpartum recovery and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team
- Must be able to work effectively under stress with minimal supervision
- Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
- All positions are auto offer
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to facility radius rules
- COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
- Active OK or compact RN license required
- BLS certification from AHA required
- NRP certification from AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics required
- Minimum of 1 year recent labor and delivery RN experience
- Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must have a US Social Security Number and US address (no international addresses accepted)
- Copy of Driver’s License required
