School Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Under the supervision of the Site Administrator and Manager of School Nursing, the school nurse (LPN) works with students and the entire school community. Responsibilities include supporting health needs such as medication administration, first aid, immunization compliance, and workers compensation documentation. Technology use includes email, submitting attachments, reports, online supply orders, and accessing forms.

• Education: Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing program from a vocational or technical school.
• Experience: Two (2) years of nursing experience. School nursing, pediatric nursing, or related nursing specialty experience preferred.

  • Valid, unrestricted license for practical nursing from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
  • Knowledge of fundamental nursing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
