about us: tulsa center for behavioral health (tcbh) provides a supportive, safe and welcoming environment in which an array of integrated therapeutic interventions promotes an improved quality of life for consumers and the community. Tcbh serves individuals eighteen years of age or older who present in a mental health crisis with or without substance abuse and are determined medically stable.

we will transition soon into our new 140,000 square foot, 106‑bed hospital, slated for completion in 2026. This state‑of‑the‑art facility, the oklahoma psychiatric care center, will feature a 24‑hour crisis response urgent recovery center and will be situated in the osu academic medical district, near the new va hospital and the osu medical center in downtown tulsa.

the advanced nurse practitioner will aid in the diagnosis and prevention of diseases, including mental illness; supervise, monitor and modify treatment and discharge planning, as authorized; act as a direct representative of the physician in collaborative efforts; act as a clinical supervisor and serve as health administrator in the administrator’s absence; and supervise implementation of treatment plans.

Full‑time, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm monday‑friday

minimum qualifications and experience

education and experience requirements: possession of a valid oklahoma license as a registered nurse by the oklahoma board of nursing, recognition as a certified advanced practice nurse by the oklahoma board of nursing, and three years of experience as a registered nurse. Approval for prescriptive authority requires current licensure in oklahoma as a registered nurse and as a certified nurse practitioner (cnp), certified nurse midwife (cnm), or clinical nurse specialist (cns) within 30 calendar days of the entry‑on‑duty date.

The advanced practice registered nurse must hold a graduate degree at an advanced practice level or a post‑master’s certificate at an advanced practice level if the master’s degree is in nursing, to be eligible for initial application for prescriptive authority.

drug and alcohol pre‑employment and pre‑placement testing
