Role Description

The Entry-Level Digital Marketing Specialist supports and executes digital and local marketing initiatives designed to drive customer engagement, increase sales, and strengthen community presence across multiple restaurant locations. This role blends data-driven digital marketing with hands-on, community-focused efforts unique to each restaurant’s local market.

This position works closely with operations, leadership, and store-level teams to ensure marketing strategies translate into real-world results, from online ads and email campaigns to in-store materials, fundraising events, and local partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Marketing & Performance
    — Assist with SEO and SEM initiatives
    , including keyword research, on-page optimization, and Google Ads support
  • Launch, monitor, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Track, analyze, and report campaign performance using Google Analytics
    , ad dashboards, and internal reporting tools
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
    , providing insights, trends, and actionable recommendations
  • Email & Online Sales Support
    — Support email marketing campaigns
    , including segmentation, automation, and performance tracking
  • Assist with promotions tied to online ordering, third-party delivery platforms, and direct sales channels
  • Help ensure digital menus, promotions, and offers are accurate and optimized across online platforms
  • Creative & Brand Support
    — Create marketing assets using Canva
    , including:
  • Digital ads
  • Social media graphics
  • Email visuals
  • In-store signage, banners, and posters
  • Assist with menu design updates
    , promotional materials, and customer-facing branding to support campaigns and seasonal initiatives
  • Local Area & Community Marketing
    — Execute local area marketing strategies tailored to each restaurant’s community
  • Coordinate and support local fundraising events with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations
  • Assist with event promotion, signage, digital outreach, and post-event reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with local partners to increase brand visibility and customer loyalty
  • Customer Engagement & In-Store Support
    — Support initiatives focused on customer engagement and retention
    , both online and in-store
  • Assist with marketing needs at the restaurant level, including banners, table tents, window signage, and promotional materials
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure marketing efforts align with in-store execution and guest experience
  • General Support
    — Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices
  • Assist with special marketing projects as needed across locations
Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with customers, vendors, and community partners.
  • Proficiency in Market Research and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities to guide decision-making.
  • Experience in Marketing Strategy and Sales to design impactful campaigns and drive growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple projects.
  • Passion for community engagement and supporting local businesses is highly valued.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry is a plus.
