As a Pipeline NDE Assistant Technician, you will support experienced NDT Technicians in the inspection of pipelines and related infrastructure using various NDT technologies such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle inspection, and x-ray equipment. This role involves hands‑on assistance in equipment setup, inspection preparation, and maintenance tasks. Travel to job sites is required.

• Assist in setting up and operating NDT equipment, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant, phased array, and other inspection technologies.
• Support NDT Technicians in conducting pipeline inspections and identifying flaws or anomalies.
• Prepare, load, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment.
• Assist in examination techniques and documentation processes.
• Maintain safe operation of company vehicles and uphold a clean driving record.
• Perform cleaning and routine maintenance of vehicles, tools, and work areas.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support field inspection teams.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in NDT or related field is encouraged but not mandatory.
• Must consent to drug and background screening following a conditional offer of employment.
• Physical demands include occasional lifting, bending, reaching, kneeling, walking, standing, and moving objects.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focusing ability.
• Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel daily to job sites.
• Ability and willingness to work 6 to 10‑hour days, Monday through Saturday, with overtime after 8 hours on weekdays and all day on weekends.

• Overtime available (including weekends)

• Pay range: $18.00 – $22.00+ per hour, depending on experience
• Per diem starting at $150 per day while traveling
• Seasonal / Temporary position with potential for extension
