Welder and Fabricator

Pay: $22-$25/hr

This position is fabrication-focused and involves building and modifying steel components for work trucks, trailers, and specialty equipment. The role primarily involves MIG and flux‑core welding on mild and structural steel, along with layout, fitting, and assembly of fabricated components. Daily work includes reading prints, preparing materials, welding structural assemblies, and supporting equipment installations. This is a hands‑on position in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where quality and craftsmanship matter.

• Build and modify steel components for work trucks, trailers, and specialty equipment.
• Perform MIG and flux‑core welding on mild and structural steel.
• Conduct layout, fitting, and assembly of fabricated components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Prepare materials and weld structural assemblies.
• Support equipment installations.
• Maintain adherence to safe welding practices and shop safety standards.

• Experience with MIG and flux‑core welding.
• Strong fabrication skills including fitting, layout, and assembly.

• Experience in truck equipment, heavy equipment, or industrial fabrication is a plus.

Fleet Shop. The position operates on a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7am‑4:30pm. The role includes a weld test with the owner and two shop leads, ensuring skills meet high standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
