- - Responsibilities:
Assemble, fit, and rivet detail parts and structures; perform sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation of aircraft components;
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, hole patterns, and cut/form materials;
Perform repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMTs), Material Review Requests (MRRs), and Production Change Orders (PCOs); complete necessary rework;
Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, pins, and fasteners according to specifications;
Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs)
