The Opportunity:

We're seeking an NPD Technologist to help develop new products, improve existing recipes, and support our manufacturing teams with practical technical know‑how.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Create and improve recipes, lead NPD projects, and assess alternative raw materials
• Process Development & Implementation: Scale recipes and create processing instructions for production, support trials and handovers, and manage batch cards and SOPs
• Packaging Development: Assess new packaging formats and prepare technical details for artwork, claims, and nutrition information
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving NPD processes, documentation, and sensory methods.
• Manufacturing Support: Provide recipe, ingredient, and troubleshooting support to the manufacturing team
• Work, Health & Safety: Follow safe work practices, report hazards, and contribute to a positive safety culture.

To Succeed With Us:

• Demonstrate Strong Technical Interest in Food: Bring a genuine passion for food, supported by solid knowledge of flavours, ingredients, and emerging industry trends.
• Manage Competing Priorities: Ability to maintain a high level of organisation and deliver quality outcomes while working across multiple tasks and deadlines.

  Qualifications:
  
  Possess a Bachelor of Food Science (or equivalent) and a minimum of two years’ experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Apply Sound Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate understanding of the Food standards Code, as well as food processing and preservation techniques.
