Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift (4:45 am - 3:15 pm)

As an Operations Trainee with PDS Tech Commercial, you’ll be part of a hands‑on team shaping the future of aviation. This entry‑level position is perfect for mechanically inclined individuals looking to gain valuable experience in aircraft manufacturing. Under direct supervision, you'll learn essential assembly operations and play a key role in building the aircraft of tomorrow.

• Train in and perform structural assembly operations within a production department

• Use basic mechanical hand tools like pneumatic drills, rivet guns, and reamers

• Learn to read blueprints, work orders, and specification sheets to understand build requirements

• Assist with part fitting, alignment, drilling, and riveting using holding fixtures and clamps

• Support quality standards by ensuring all parts and work meet specifications

• Observe, assist, and gradually work with less supervision as skills grow

• Maintain clean, safe work spaces and follow all safety procedures

• High School Diploma or GED

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands‑on work

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Basic computer and keyboarding skills

• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

• Willingness to work any shift and follow instructions precisely

• Strong attention to detail and professional attitude

• Enrollment in or completion of a Technical Aviation program

• Familiarity with hand and power tools

• Comfort reading scales and performing basic shop math
