** POSITION SUMMARY
** The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising production employees by implementing policies and recommending improvements for production needs.
** RESPONSIBILITIES
* ** Improve safety processes and behaviors to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Plan, schedule and execute production operations and establish priorities.
* Ensure process controls are established and adhered to for operational consistency.
* Maintain knowledge and understanding of HACCP concepts and plant sanitation.
* Review reports and resolve production and maintenance problems to prevent operational delays.
* Achieve stated goals for efficiency, waste, and direct costs.
* Inspect equipment to ensure operational performance and optimal utilization.
* Develop and implement standard operational and working practices.
* Manage employee performance, discipline, development and compliance with policies and procedures.
* Partner with Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues and strengthen employee morale.
* Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
* Work closely with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
* Recommend and implement changes in methods, equipment and systems to assure objectives of production are met.
* Establish line performance standards; measure, take corrective action and report results.
