Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to set up and operate both standard Mill and CNC machine tools. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and written specifications, and apply shop mathematics effectively. You will use various machinist’s hand tools and measuring instruments to shape metal bars, forgings, and castings to precise dimensions and finishes.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate standard Mill and CNC machine tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints and written specifications.
- Utilize shop mathematics for precise measurements.
- Skillfully use all machinist's hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Shape metal bars, forgings, and castings to precise dimensions and finishes.
- Identify and apply the correct metals, speeds, and feeds for machining.
- Operate one or more machines to meet production and quality standards with maximum productivity.
- Lift and handle parts weighing 5 to 60 pounds regularly.
- Perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, and twisting to secure parts, measure, inspect work, change tools, set up machinery, and load/unload parts.
- Stand for 40 to 60% of the time to load, unload, and inspect parts, and to observe machine functions.
- At least 2-3 years of CNC Mill experience.
- Ability to set up, operate, and edit CNC programs.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Experience with machining and using calipers and micrometres.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to walk around the plant for machine changes, retrieving blueprints, and parts.
- Strong visual and written comprehension for safety and paperwork.
- Effective communication with supervisors, dispatchers, and inspectors.
- Capability to learn and retain machine controls, functions, and measurement techniques.
- Punctuality and regular attendance to meet manufacturing schedules.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, requiring flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.04 - $27.04/hr.
