Ameristar Perimeter Security USA – Loader

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Loader. This position will be responsible for safety loading parts onto a moving production line.

• Check for incoming materials so production is not stalled.
• Ensure work area is clean and perform necessary housekeeping.
• Recognize parts that do not meet specifications and reject bad materials that do not meet quality standards.
• Stand at work station for long periods of time.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Flexibility with production hours.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
• Perform repetitive motions using arms and hands.
• Maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
• Think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to priorities.
• Work side by side with other production operators.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
• Good understanding of quality control.
