Maintenance Technician

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.
• Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
• Work on assigned projects
• Fabricate and install new equipment
• Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Utilize safe work habits
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies,guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background in fabrication, mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools

• Forklift certification/license
• Ability to work overtime as required

• Ability to read precision gauges
• Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely
• Ability to adapt and becross-trainedto learn all job duties as required
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations

• Ability to work overtime as required
• Standing up to 12hours daily
• Walkingup to 12hours daily
• Bending/Stooping up to 12hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Push/Pullup to 12hours daily
