What Will You Do?

  • Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process
  • Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness
  • Perform a variety of tasks
  • Promote amb & support safety and production
  • Make quality visual U.T. and X‑ray welds

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • Walking
  • Standing
  • Using hands
  • Bending
  • Lifting – maximum of 75 lbs.
  • Sitting
  • Must be able to work inside and outside
  • This position is classified as safety‑sensitive. Due to the use of heavy machinery, power tools, and exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, the role requires heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols. Employees must be able to perform duties in a manner that ensures their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace.

Your Experience Should Be…

  • High school diploma or its equivalent (preferred)
  • 2–4 years related experience
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
  • Ability to operate overhead crane
  • Familiarity with welding machines and hand tools
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to work under general supervision
  • Ability to work different shifts
  • Ability to pass 2G Mig Root with flux fill and cap
  • Ability and willingness to learn to operate basic cutting equipment
  • Ability to lift
  • Possess a positive attitude
