This position is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by overseeing the daily operation of a production area. Assists in the safety, quality, and production metrics to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.

• Mentors, coaches, and oversees the work of the team to meet safety, operational, and quality needs.
• Provides input for establishing goals and metrics in alignment of organizational strategy and effectively communicates to team.
• Aids in administering established policies and procedures.
• Collaborates effectively with other organizational areas including but not limited to Quality, Safety, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Maintenance and Product Development departments.
• Determines needs and effectively reports on issues.
• Assists in ensuring inventory and staffing levels meet demand.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred and 3 or more years of related manufacturing process experience, with comprehensive knowledge of the products, principles, and concepts.
• Leadership experience with the ability to also work as a team.
• Ability to perform moderately complex problem analysis with mechanical aptitude.
• Solid working knowledge of production processes and related manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and protect privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required when in manufacturing areas. This role operates in a professional office environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non‑toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing areas.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to type, hold, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
