Position: QC Tech II (Electrical Test)

QC Technician (Electrical Test)

Inspect and electrically test control panels in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect panels for fit and finish.
  • Continuity checking of electrical circuits and troubleshooting of wiring issues.
  • Variable frequency drive programming.
  • Programmable logic controller flashing and setup.
  • Attention to detail and self‑motivated.
  • Accurately complete test reports and other paperwork.
  • Function testing of relay logic and PLC input/output to test drive, motor starters, etc.
  • Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good/safe housekeeping practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compliance with PPE requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics (knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components, and general wiring practices).
  • Understanding of AC and DC circuits.
  • Previous control panel building/testing experience preferred.
  • Experience with 480V industrial panels highly preferred.
  • Current UL MTR certification highly preferred (includes shift differential).
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time; work may also require a seated position.
