SummaryTo remove finished product from the machines, inspect product to ensure quality specifications have been met and that all packaging requirements have been done according to production work order.
Responsibilities- Perform instructions outlined in the Production Manuals for Production Assistants
- Operate pallet jacks and fork trucks
- Assist operators as needed to minimize downtime during cleanups and maintenance
- Weigh and package rolls according to specifications and instructions provided on work order paperwork

- Use and complete paperwork
- Understand and follow quality specifications
- Do Q.A. clean‑up
- Perform housekeeping duties on and around the line
- Maintain neat and clear aisles for product transfer and safety
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Takes reasonable care for their own health and safety
- Takes reasonable care for the health and safety of others
- Authorized to stop work when a perceived unsafe condition or behavior may result in an unwanted event
- Understands and actively participates in the company's EHS policy, goals, and objectives
- Must know how to read and use a tape measure and weigh scale
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; over 50 lbs requires a team lift or mechanical aid such as a roll lift or forklift
- Must be able to stand for 12 hours
- Must be able to work rotating 12‑hour shift including holidays and weekends
- Must be able to bend, twist, and rotate body at all times
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- The employee is required to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 35 pounds frequently; over 50 lbs requires a team lift or mechanical aid such as a roll lift or forklift
- Must stand for 12 hours
- Must work rotating 12‑hour shift including holidays and weekends
