Laser/Brake Press Operator (day consists of 25% Laser and 75 % Brake Press) role includes forming sheet metal by programming, and setting up and operating a brake press. This role also includes cutting sheet metal by setting up and operating a CNC Laser, punching metal on a turret press, deburring and performing other operations in a metal fabrication environment.
Job Requirements- Ability to program, safely set-up and operate CNC and conventional brake presses (MUST)
- Ability to operate drill press, chop saw, grinders, buffers, PEM machine and strippit (PLUS)
- Perform various inspection functions utilizing tape measure, calipers, and protractor (MUST)
- Ability to safely set-up, make minor edits to programs and operate CNC Laser and deburr (MUST)
- Operate time saver (MUST)
- Set-up and run turret press (MUST)
- Read and understand prints, finish specifications, bills of material, routers and work instructions (MUST)
