McElroy Manufacturing is hiring a skilled Precision Grinder to join our manufacturing team at our Fulton campus. We build high-quality, precision components that help power essential industries — and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and enjoys producing parts that meet exacting standards.

• Set up and operate precision grinding machines, including surface, OD/, magnetic chuck, CNC, and crush grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job packets, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Select and dress appropriate grinding wheels for each project.
• Inspect finished parts to confirm tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.
• Maintain and perform light repairs on grinding equipment to keep everything running smoothly.
• Collaborate with teammates and engineers to solve problems and improve processes.
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.

• At least 3 years of experience in precision grinding or high-tolerance machining.
• Familiarity with grinding machines, tooling, and materials.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Excellent attention to detail — you take pride in producing top-quality work.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
