Overview

Join as a CNC Machinist Mid & High Level at McElroy Manufacturing, Inc.. Work in our Admiral Facility producing high‑precision parts for fusion and fintube machines.

• Set up, operate, and maintain multi‑axis CNC machines with minimal supervision.
• Load and secure parts, fixtures, and tools accurately.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T specs, and machining instructions.
• Perform machine setups including: loading fixtures and tools, loading and selecting the correct program, setting work coordinates and tool offsets, sizing in first article using measurement tools.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators to ensure parts meet strict specifications.
• Identify and select correct materials for each job.
• Troubleshoot operational and programming issues in real time.
• Maintain a clean, high‑quality, and organized work center.

• 3+ years CNC machining experience, including multi‑axis machines.
• Experience running HAAS vertical mills.
• Ability to read and act on blueprints and part tolerances.
• Ability to meet assigned run times and respond quickly to changing demands.
• Proven reliability and accountability.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and self‑driven attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

95% of the shift involves standing, bending, squatting, climbing, and running production while inspecting work and checking procedures. Job requires moving material and parts up to 50 lb. Safety‑sensitive designation due to handling of hazardous materials, operation of equipment, and potential for injury.
