Job Overview

American Home Pros is seeking a results-driven Service Manager to lead our high-performing residential and light commercial service team in the Tulsa Metro/Green Country area.

While HVAC Service Management experience is strongly preferred, we are open to experienced Operations Managers or Service Leaders from plumbing, roofing, mechanical, or similar skilled trade industries who bring strong operational leadership and team development experience.

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll drive operational excellence, coach field technicians to achieve KPI targets, and ensure our “white-glove” service standards are consistently delivered. You will own the success of the Service Department—performance, process, and people—while building a culture of accountability, trust, and pride in workmanship.

Who We Are

American Home Pros is a family- and veteran-owned HVAC company built on integrity, quality, and putting people first. We are known for our respectful, loyal, and ambitious team culture—and for delivering premium work with a personal touch. Whether it’s a repair, maintenance, or full system replacement, we do it right, with modern tools and high standards.

Join a company where your leadership will directly shape growth, culture, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of field technicians through daily huddles, 1:1 coaching, and ride-alongs.
  • Promote a high-performance culture centered on accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and job readiness to ensure operational efficiency and first-visit resolution.
  • Monitor and coach KPI performance (Tech-Generated Leads, Average Ticket, Membership Sales, Opportunity Conversion Rate).
  • Conduct ticket audits for pricing accuracy, documentation quality, and option presentation.
  • Ensure fleet readiness, safety compliance, and operational standards are consistently upheld.
  • Handle customer escalations with professionalism and urgency.
  • Facilitate team training, vendor events, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Installation, and Warehouse teams to ensure cross-functional success.
  • Utilize CRM systems and digital reporting tools to drive visibility, accountability, and performance tracking.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: 3 to 5+ years of HVAC Service Management experience.
  • Also considered:
Operations or Service Management experience in plumbing, roofing, mechanical, electrical, or similar skilled trades.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and managing service KPIs.
  • Strong operational leadership and process management skills.
  • Ability to build systems, hold teams accountable, and drive measurable performance improvement.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, scheduling systems, and digital reporting tools.
  • Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
What Makes a Strong Candidate
  • Proven experience managing field service teams in a trade-based environment.
  • Ability to transition technical teams from reactive to performance-driven culture.
  • Strong coaching and accountability leadership style.
  • Comfortable owning department-level metrics and financial performance.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn HVAC-specific technical components if coming from a related trade.
