Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a full-time, on-site position located in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex oil and gas construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve company standards. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with cross-departmental teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead full lifecycle execution of complex oil & gas projects, including compression stations, generator installations, pipeline facilities, and related infrastructure from concept through commissioning and closeout.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, budget development, scheduling, resource allocation, procurement strategy, and risk management.
  • Oversee multi-million to large-scale capital projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, procurement, safety, quality, and field operations personnel.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships; serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, owners, and executive leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontract agreements; manage commercial risk and ensure favorable financial outcomes.
  • Direct cost control efforts, including forecasting, earned value analysis, budget tracking, and financial reporting to executive management.
  • Monitor and mitigate project risks through proactive identification, contingency planning, and issue resolution.
  • Lead project scheduling efforts using advanced scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), including critical path analysis and recovery planning.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings, progress updates, and executive reporting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage field execution activities, ensuring quality control, inspection standards, and adherence to construction best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce cost, and improve project delivery performance.
  • Mentor and develop project managers, project engineers, and field supervisors to strengthen organizational capabilities.
  • Support business development efforts by assisting with proposal development, estimating, bid reviews, and client presentations.
  • Ensure proper project documentation, turnover packages, commissioning records, and final project closeout deliverables.
  • Maintain alignment with corporate strategic goals while protecting profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Communication - Actively listens and provides regular, consistent, and meaningful information and expresses the message effectively by organizing and delivering information appropriately.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Project Management, or similar, combined with experience to manage a set of varying quantities and sizes of projects. Minimum of 10 years controlling projects. Expert in computer usage, including Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and the Internet.
