Job Summary

The Director of Analytics and Resiliency will lead the Resilient Analytics division, with responsibility for business growth and practice development, including full profit and loss accountability. This role entails influencing client decision‑making, developing successful project proposals, and applying data‑driven strategies to deliver resilience solutions. The successful candidate will develop strong connections with the engineering areas of the business to fully integrate resiliency into all disciplines.

The successful candidate will be an ethical, driven, and collaborative leader, passionate about client success, and committed to building an inclusive team that delivers significant impact. Essential qualifications include a strong background in climate adaptation and data analytics, an extensive industry network, and a proven record of strategy development, project management, public speaking, and leading multidisciplinary teams. Experience in leading projects that mitigate risk, protect public health and safety, and enhance environmental health is required.

What

You Will Be Doing
  • Lead project teams and act as a primary client interface for resilience projects.
  • Guide project development decisions, including climate risk assessments and adaptation solutions.
  • Align client needs with analytics and resiliency capabilities.
  • Oversee project proposal development, utilizing both established and innovative data‑driven methods.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams and manage client contracts.
  • Collaborate with Stanley executive leadership to develop Resilient Analytics strategy and goals, including business development for infrastructure and environmental health sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities with current and potential clients, working closely with business development and marketing teams.
  • Utilize professional networks to expand the sales pipeline.
  • Mentor team members and support their career development.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, regional and urban planning, environmental law, sustainability or a related program.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in climate change resilience, consulting services, data analytics, or other relevant technical experience.
  • Managerial Scope: Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, mentoring, evaluation, and offboarding, while ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable labor laws. Manage departmental budgets and support operational objectives effectively.
