Overview
Job Summary:
The Air Duct Cleaning Tech is responsible for providing air duct cleaning services to customers homes. They evaluate the work area's air quality and educate the customer on appropriate products (furnace filters, etc.) for the overall improvement of indoor air quality.
Job Responsibilities- Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
- Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately.
- Cleans and sanitizes Air Ducts & Dryer Vents.
- Explains & educates additional services to customers that are solutions to fit their needs.
- Returns all equipment to the truck and secures it for trip to next assigned appointment.
- Assists the Manager in formal training and development of new duct cleaners.
- Operating company vehicles and will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as, maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
- Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training and no tolerance will be accepted for the disregard of safety instructions.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
- Submit customer invoices via company I Pad correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostic and all recommended repairs.
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of Duct Cleaning experience (required)
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Time management skills
- Basic software understanding
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.
The employee is regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus.
Activities involve attics and crawl spaces, being around moving parts and equipment, exposure to changes in heat temperature and humidity occur daily.
Pay/HoursPay:
Piece Pay ($55,000-$65,000)
Hours:
Monday - Friday (Occasional Weekends)
Hours:
7:00am-5:00pm (flexible start and end times based upon business needs)
