As Maintenance Technician Assistant, you will assist others in planning and coordinating the maintenance activities for a facility to ensure safe, efficient and quality work is performed. Cleaning and maintaining building mechanical and electrical rooms as well as performing various maintenance tasks as needed are key responsibilities.

• Assists the building technicians with maintenance and repair of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and other related equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

• Cleans and maintains building mechanical and electrical rooms

• Re‑lamps lights in the building mechanical and electrical rooms; assists light porter with difficult to reach lighting

• Paints in mechanical rooms as needed

• Assists with restroom maintenance as needed

• Picks up parts as needed in company vehicle

• Other duties as assigned

• Required:
  
  High school diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years related experience

• Demonstrates outstanding organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application

• Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record

• Must be willing to work after hours, on‑call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises

  Must be willing to work flexible and rotating shifts
