Overview
The McAfee & Taft summer clerk program provides summer associates with a true picture of the firm's practice and culture and what they can expect to experience during the first few years as an associate at McAfee & Taft. Each summer clerk is paired with a shareholder and an associate who provide guidance and advice during their stay at the firm.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Receive work assignments from attorneys from a variety of practice areas
- Apply law school research and writing training to real world legal challenges
- Observe trials, depositions, hearings, closings, and client meetings
- Attend firm social functions, lunches and events
- Submit work projects weekly, meet deadlines and receive constructive guidance to grow and improve work product
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Actively attending law school is required. An equivalent combination of educational performance and general experience is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of a completed undergrad program and 1 to 2 years of law school is required.
