A company is looking for a Counsel to manage legal matters and support various organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day contracting for the legal team, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various agreements
- Lead or collaborate on legal matters in critical areas such as data privacy, technology, and nonprofit compliance
- Research and advise on new laws relevant to the organization and manage third‑party requests for information
- Membership of at least one state bar in good standing
- At least 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, including 2+ years as in‑house counsel
- Proven ability to work effectively with legal and non‑legal staff
- Demonstrated successful project planning and multitasking skills
- Ability to navigate highly confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
