Litigation Attorney

Mullican|Hart, P.C. is a civil defense law firm based in Tulsa, Oklahoma that provides legal services to railroads, transportation companies, corporations, nursing homes, and insurance companies. The principle partners have worked together for over 25 years. In addition to Oklahoma, our team currently represents clients in numerous states including Pennsylvania, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Iowa, and Texas. We are looking to expand our team of attorneys.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tulsa, OK, for a litigation attorney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of litigation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting depositions, and providing representation during trials and appeals. We maintain a collaborative office that is an ideal situation for a young litigator.

• Strong Litigation and Trial Advocacy skills, including courtroom representation and case management.
• Proficiency in Legal Research, Writing, and Drafting, including preparing pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.
• Effective Negotiation, Communication, and Client Management skills to support excellent client relationships and case resolution.
• Experience with Transportation, Corporate, Insurance Defense, or similar legal fields is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the state of Oklahoma is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a high-performing legal team and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to travel for work in states other than Oklahoma.
