Basic Function:
This position is responsible for creating reports, insights, and analytics in support of the division. Duties include gathering and documenting business requirements, providing consultation to users, leading cross‑functional teams, producing datasets and reports using system reporting tools, performing research, interfacing between the business and divisional data teams, building relationships with customers, analyzing complex business problems, identifying trends and patterns, acting as a liaison between business and analytical teams, and communicating the value of analytics outputs to business users in healthcare payer settings.

• Create reports, insights, and analytics in support of the division.
• Gather and document business requirements for information‑related strategies.
• Provide consultation to users and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Produce datasets and reports using system reporting tools.
• Conduct research and analyze data related to strategic initiatives.
• Interface between business and divisional data teams to generate actionable tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Analyze complex business problems and issues using internal and external data.
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns to locate influences.
• Act as a liaison between business and analytical teams.
• Communicate healthcare payer‑based business concepts to analytics users.
• Market the value of analytics outputs to business users in healthcare payer settings.
• Verify the accuracy of reports and provide insights.
• Work independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations.

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of analytical experience in relationship management or driving analytics insights into action OR 9 years of analytical experience in relationship management or driving analytics insights into action.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements in support of information‑related strategies.
• Experience solving complex problems and taking a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Knowledge of software development processes, including SDLC, Agile methodologies, and relevant tools and technologies.
• Experience creating and conducting presentations to inform and influence.
• Experience leading functional teams and projects.
• Experience with SAS, SPSS, R, MATLAB, SQL, Python, and related reporting tools/languages.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience leading projects and junior analysts.
• Initiative to solve complex problems, taking an “outside‑in” perspective.
• May lead functional teams or projects to support business needs for reporting and insights.
• Work with both internal and external data.
• Knowledge of project portfolio management and related reporting.
• Exposure to managing teams operating under a reporting‑as‑a‑service model.
• Accountability around decision support and analysis around program and project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or mathematics.
• Master’s degree.
• Healthcare experience in business development, business analytics, or innovation management.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Alteryx and SSIS.
• Ability to mentor other analysts to establish best practices.

3 days in office/week with 2 days remote/week.
