IT Specialist
Mechanicsburg, PA
On-site for the first 6 months
Hybrid up to 3 days remote/2 days onsite thereafter
Salary Range: $68,000 to $84,000 annually, plus benefits
We’re staffing a direct hire opening for an experienced IT Specialist to join the Information Technology team of a respected financial services organization in Mechanicsburg, PA. The hours of operation are typically Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of successful employment. Travel to branch offices and other facilities may be required.

- As an IT Specialist, you will provide helpdesk support to end users, assist with security and application administration, and deliver training.
- You'll also provide on‑site support to corporate offices, manage system maintenance and installations, and ensure compliance with local security requirements.
- This role requires creativity, independence, and communication skills.
- You may also take the lead on association‑wide IT initiatives.
- Provide exceptional IT support to all end users across the organization.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical issues; document and track resolutions to ensure a timely resolution.
- Manage the centralized IT inventory.
- Administer and manage IT systems, including:
Helpdesk software, Security systems, Print management systems, Device management systems, and other financial services software systems. - Develop training materials and communication plans for IT projects.
- Assist with hardware and software upgrades across the organization.
- Research and recommend new technologies to support strategic goals.
- Participate in association‑wide initiatives and guide staff.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field. Generally, a minimum of four to eight years of IT experience in a related area.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Operating Systems, financial services software, and general PC maintenance.
- Strong willingness to learn and understand the company's functions and service provider core systems.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks.
