Role Summary

In this position, you will be a member of a team of IT professionals responsible for ensuring the ongoing accuracy, effectiveness, and consistency of regulatory processes and procedures, but not limited to vulnerability management. These processes are focused on meeting government‑mandated Cyber Security requirements. The candidate should have 3+ years of experience with exposure to IT technologies including database, network, and server operating systems.

Knowledge and experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Cyber Security concepts and best practices are beneficial.

What You Will Do
  • Leads efforts to define, document, and maintain system specifications including business processes, functional requirements, and functional designs.
  • Troubleshoots moderate to complex production support tickets and end‑user questions that may require collaboration with multiple business or technical teams to identify root causes and appropriate solutions.
  • Invests time with business to continually develop an intermediate level of business knowledge of the business unit(s) supported.
  • Leads small to medium reviews of business requests for IT projects/services and collaborates with business requestor to create business case document that clearly articulates the scope and business value of the request.
  • Develops and maintains end‑user training materials, job aides and support training delivery. Deliver simple training instruction to end‑users.
  • Designs testing procedures to measure efficiency and integrity of processes.
  • Documents and executes moderate to complex software test cases. Assist in the planning and execution of software testing.
  • Introduces enhancements and procedure changes for supported systems (as specified by position).
  • Creates and maintains simple to moderately complex data queries and reports to provide data analysis tools to system users and stakeholders.
  • Performs business analysis tasks as a member of a project team.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
  • Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Will Need

Preferred Bachelor's Degree accounting, finance, business administration, computer science, MIS, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job‑related experience:

  • Experience and/or training related to Enterprise applications.
  • Knowledgeable in configuring applicable systems
  • Exposure to vulnerability remediation and security patch management
  • Ability to present project related data to Sr. level management
Experience relative to
  • Desktop application/hardware
  • Interpersonal communications
  • System security administration
  • SQL Query skills
  • Vulnerability management tools
  • Data Analytic Skills

Demonstrated ability to identify, research, and analyze systems software problems, and perform systems evaluation.

Demonstrated ability to review manuals, journals, system reports, and correspondence.

Demonstrated ability to research, prepare and compose systems operating procedures and documentation, reports, and correspondence.

Demonstrated ability to interact, advise, guide, train, and communicate effectively.

Demonstrated ability to develop and present information to individuals and groups.

Demonstrated ability with application of arithmetic and computer math.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Preferred Applicable Driver’s License

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities system wide.

Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions and conduct oral presentations.

Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
