Job Summary: Heitmeyer has banking client that has a need within their Software Quality Engineering organization for a Quality Engineer to run quality checks on workflow, product, processes and procedures for a PCI Compliance initiative. The role is open for full remote and is targeting an early February start date.

Job Description: The Quality Engineer will use their research, troubleshooting and analytical skills to create, maintain and execute test cases regarding the business processes and procedures to ensure high quality levels.

Top Responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks on PCI experience – capturing of card information, protection of cardholder data, meeting Data Security Standards (DSS).
• Create, maintain and execute test cases across application platforms to verify acceptance criteria and ensure consistent quality.
• Detect, analyze and report meaningful defects from failed testing results.
• Review actionable metrics and contribute to defect detection improvements to reduce escaped defects.
• Collaborate with product team on application user experience improvement and efficiency opportunities.
• Complete and contribute to quality documentation and artifact tasks to support adherence of audit process and procedures.
• Maintain and grow updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
• Assist in triaging automated test results.
