Job Responsibilities:- Install, configure, test, monitor, and troubleshoot end‑user and local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services such as personal computers, camera systems, system software, software applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, presentation equipment, internet service providers, and other products.
- Analyze and resolve complex software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printer, servers, and applications to meet business needs.
- Perform analysis of network needs and contribute to design of network architecture, integration, and installation.
- Establish and maintain network users, user environment, directories, and security.
- Use backup technologies daily to ensure proper data protection of the client’s digital assets.
- Research and evaluate new technologies.
- Upgrade system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
- Respond to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.
- Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed.
- Effectively communicate and demonstrate interpersonal skills with all levels of employees in a clear and professional manner.
3+ years in related experience with the following knowledge:
- Knowledgeable in DELL/EMC hardware & software including DELL Compel lend
- TCP/IP MPLS
- DHCP
- WINS
- DNS
- VLAN
- VPN
- LAN
- WAN
- Active Directory Domain Services and server operating systems
- Network hardware ie switches & access points
- Connect Wise Control Client
- Hyper‑V virtualized environments
- Office 365 administration
- Basic SQL administration
- Anti‑virus solutions
