Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information Technology Project Manage
r to support a long-term federal program. This is a full-time on-site role in Tulsa, OK
. The IT Project Manager will oversee highly complex system projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management methodologies, change management, and process improvement, while serving as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Develop and evaluate project plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate activities across multiple internal and external teams to maintain project scope and objectives.
- Monitor project progress, disseminate updates, and implement mitigation plans for potential delays.
- Manage all phases of assigned programs, including cost, schedule, scope, and risk management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interface, including requirements negotiation and change management.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project teams throughout the lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Recommend and implement improvements to IT’s PMO processes and standards.
- Drive organizational process improvement initiatives using data-driven analysis.
- Implement change management strategies to ensure adoption across all system deliverables.
- Review and update technical training materials and standard operating procedures.
- Research and analyze operational performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale IT projects or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven ability to create and implement project schedules, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and advise large teams effectively.
- Certifications:
- PMP certification highly recommended.
- Lean Six Sigma preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $75,000-$145,000. Salary commensurate with experience.
- Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave, and Holidays. (As required by law)
