We’re partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Tulsa, OK to hire an experienced and motivated Respiratory Care Manager to lead adult and pediatric respiratory services. This is a full-time, permanent leadership opportunity for a clinically strong and people-focused professional ready to drive quality, performance, and patient outcomes.
As the Respiratory Care Manager
, you will plan, direct, and oversee all clinical, operational, and administrative functions of the respiratory department. You will lead a large multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, optimize departmental performance, and promote exceptional patient care across ICU and general respiratory programs
, including COPD initiatives
.
- Lead and manage respiratory care services for adult and pediatric populations
- Direct departmental staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and evaluations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensure, and accreditation standards
- Oversee budget planning, cost control, and supply management
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and therapist-driven protocols
- Monitor patient safety, clinical outcomes, and physician satisfaction
- Collaborate across departments to develop innovative programs and improve care delivery
- Provide mentorship, education, and professional development for staff
- Lead a team of 140+ respiratory professionals
, reporting to 3–5 Supervisors - 3–4+ years of leadership experience in respiratory care
- Strong Adult ICU experience and clinical knowledge – required
- In-depth knowledge of respiratory treatments, disease management, and technology
- Proven people management and leadership skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation tools
- Pediatric ICU experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business
- Completion of AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program – required
- Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care License – required
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – required
- BLS certification within 2 months of hire
- Salary: $91,020 – $136,000 annually (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility required)
