Role Description

The Authorization Coordinator will oversee and manage the authorization process for all services provided  responsibilities include verifying patient insurance benefits, obtaining necessary prior authorizations, and ensuring accurate communication with both clients and insurance providers. The role involves maintaining accurate records, addressing issues related to insurance claims, and delivering exceptional support to families and staff. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tulsa, OK.

Qualifications
  • Strong administrative skills, including attention to detail, organization, and record management.
  • Experience with insurance verification, prior authorization processes, or related tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interactions with clients, staff, and insurance providers.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office and medical billing systems.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills to provide support and foster positive relationships with families and team members.
  • Capability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, medical terminology, or pediatric therapy is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training or education in medical administration is a benefit.
