Job Summary
Supervises/oversees assigned area(s) ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and other staffing related activities. In order to ensure accurate/timely productivity, sanitation, and safety guidelines are met. Assists manager(s) in a variety of responsibilities, as assigned.
Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or GED.
Licensure, Registration and/or CertificationValid Oklahoma Food Handler's permit.
Work ExperienceOne year related experience preferred.

Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Supervises assigned areas and personnel ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and filling in when needed to ensure accurate and timely productivity, meeting sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Assists manager(s) and/or other personnel as needed with a variety of responsibilities including interviewing, performance evaluations, counseling, reporting, in-service classes, addressing department down time, safety issues, department problems, and taking appropriate corrective action.
- Trains and monitors staff in a positive manner on hospital and department policies, safety, sanitation, computer use, and documentation.
- Communicates employee, equipment, and department needs to management.
- Supports management and peers by words/action.
Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision.
Working RelationshipsHas input on performance evaluations but does not prepare or give. Direct Supervision of others – No. of people supervised: (varies). Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
