Job Description
The Manager of Patient Access is responsible for the daily operations of registration, insurance authorizations, central scheduling, front‑end collections, mail room and operators. Primary focuses include ensuring patients are authorized and scheduled for procedures in a timely manner, registration accuracy, communication of patient financial responsibilities, and answering and transferring incoming calls properly. Duties include training employees, implementing policy and procedure changes, monitoring work to ensure quality and service standards, completing performance appraisals, conducting staff meetings, implementing performance improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned.
The Manager should demonstrate EPIC technical expertise, hospital‑based patient access management experience, leadership qualities, and hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
