Position: Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse I - $1,889 per week

    Job Details

  • Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans.
  • Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

    Job Requirements

  • Must have current nursing license verified within 30 days prior to start.
  • Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start.
  • Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter with minimum 80% score.
  • Completion of specialty exam prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter with minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score.
  • Completion of color vision test prior to start and updated every 3 years.
  • Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission - NPSG, OSHA topics within a year of start and updated yearly with minimum 80% score.
  • NIH Certification required and updated yearly or every 2 years depending on group.
  • Completion of EKG exam prior to start with passing score of at least 80%.
  • Completion of Ascension onboarding requirements education attestation and nursing contract worker onboarding prior to start.
  • Completion of Nova Stat Strip and Cerner test-out prior to start.
  • Must provide documented proof of immunizations including MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Tdap, and TB testing as specified.
  • Fit test required and updated annually.
  • Health statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment and updated annually thereafter.
  • Driver's License/State  be valid and verified.
  • Ascension skills checklist to be completed within one year of start and updated annually.
  • 12 panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually thereafter.
  • Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start.
  • Qualifying professional references and background checks as required.

    Schedule Information

  • Contract length is 13 weeks.

    Additional Details

  • Must be AHA certified for BLS.
  • Nursys verification and license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
  • Optional Ascension Unit Specific Checklist to be uploaded by unit leader within a week.
  • Flu season is October 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026; exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
