# Student Specific Aid Stanley, NC - Stanley, NC Education Level High School## Description

A Student Specific Aide Worker works inside Gaston County Schools, as part of the school team. The Student Specific Aide Worker assists the assigned clients with tasks and goals to help the client achieve successful school days and, eventually, as much independence as possible.
* Maintain professional and therapeutic communication with treatment team and supervisor.
* Work appointed hours as scheduled and appropriate.
* Turn in all service documentation on time.
* Develop therapeutic relationships with clients and their treatment teams.
* Cooperate with all other involved agencies, services, and programs in order to provide the highest level of service and to attend to the needs of the agency.
* Follow policies and procedures.
* Follow Code of Conduct.
* Follow supervision schedule monthly and performance review annually.
* Follow chain-of-command when encountering problems or other areas of need.
* Monitor the safety of self and client and report all incidents, issues, and concerns to supervisor within the hour.
* Follow agency/client/service specific call-out and leave request guidelines.
* Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor or chain-of-command.
* Obtain and maintain annual trainings and staffings as required.
* Provide appropriate service and adhere to service definitions and treatment guidelines within the scope of the service definition and training provided.
* Use current and accurate documentation forms for the service provided.
* Establish and complete performance goals annually.## Qualifications High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Experience working with children / adolescents
