Hiring Range: Medical Assistant $17.00-$19.13;
Licensed Practical Nurse $21.00-$23.63

About This PositionAssists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care, as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Required Qualifications- Vocational/Technical Certification as Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Six (6) months of OB/GYN clinical experience required unless internship completed in the OSU clinic system.
- Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK by an accredited school of nursing/medical assisting.
- Current CPR certification (please attach copy)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Skilled delivery of patient care and procedures; medication administration, triage experience, direct patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy required.
- Ability to learn new processes, tools and equipment as required.
- Excellent customer service skills
- One (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing in an OB-GYN clinic
- Referral/ authorization experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual highly preferred
- Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
- Experience with EPIC highly preferred
