Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with recent home health and OASIS experience for a day shift position in the Tulsa area.

Job Details

• Position is in a home health setting covering the Tulsa territory,

• Expected caseload is 5-7 geriatric patients per day,

• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM,

• Patient visits may be up to a 60-mile radius from the office hub,

• No on-call required; on-call rotation may be discussed during interview,

• Uses Homecare Homebase (HCHB) for documentation; proficiency required,

• iPad provided for work; personal cell phone not used for work purposes,

Job Requirements

• Active PT license required if applicable,

• Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience required,

• Recent OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care (SOC),

• Current BLS certification required,

• Proficiency with HCHB EMR required,

• Active driver's license and reliable transportation required,

• Timely communication and documentation skills required,

• Home Health or Hospice checklist must be completed for consideration,

• No first-time travelers will be considered,

• Former employees must wait at least 6 months before reapplying as travelers,

Additional Information

• Expected to provide timely and accurate communication and documentation,

• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate,

• Scrubs of any color are required; jeans are not permitted,

• Modules are completed during orientation and are billable,

• Travel pairs are accepted, but each therapist will cover a separate territory and must have their own transportation,

• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application,

• Standard Tuesday orientation session required,
