We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and clinical procedures.

Outpatient Clinic Administrator - Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM CT) - Compensation:

- Perform patient intake, administer medications/injections, assist with exams and procedures (e.g., Botox, CGRP, lab draws), and maintain exam rooms according to clinical protocols.
- Prepare charts with relevant medical records, maintain accurate documentation in EHR, and communicate test results and medication updates as directed by providers.
- Educate patients on medications, procedures, and follow-up care; demonstrate compassionate, professional care while managing medication requests and patient inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and manage referrals across multiple clinics, ensuring timely, provider-aligned scheduling and thorough documentation.
- Handle prior authorizations, process improvement initiatives, pharmaceutical coordination, and provide timely reports and problem-solving support to staff and patients.
- Medical assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- 1-2 years healthcare experience preferred
- Understanding of insurance processes and prior authorization procedures
- Proficiency with electronic health records and referral management systems
- Experience with Adobe applications and video conferencing systems
- Ability to quickly learn new software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual preferred)
- Strong customer service and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion
- Maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing requirements
- Tulsa-area outpatient clinics as assigned
- Primarily computer workstation work with occasional travel
- Ability to lift 20-30 lbs and perform standard office/clinical activities with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
