Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN with Labor & Delivery experience and active OK or compact license for night shift assignments.

Job Details

• Position is in a hospital labor and delivery unit,

• Provides care for expectant mothers and newborns before, during, and after childbirth,

• Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00,

• Assignment duration is 13 weeks,

Job Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required,

• BLS certification from AHA required,

• NRP certification from AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics required,

• Minimum of 1 year recent labor and delivery RN experience,

• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start,

• Must have a US Social Security Number and US address (no international addresses accepted),

• Copy of Driver's License required,

Additional Information

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, manage pain including epidurals, and assist with both vaginal and surgical deliveries,

• Educate families on postpartum recovery and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team,

• Must be able to work effectively under stress with minimal supervision,

• Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required,
