* Job Description:

** Food Service Associate VITo interact with patients and patient care staff to deliver high quality food & service for patients and guests at Bay Area Hospital.
*
* SKILLS AND ABILITIES

*** Proficiently operates Palm Pilot, calculator, computer, telephone, printer, copy machine, and fax machine
* Understands different types and degrees of diet therapy
* Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
** EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
*** Able to read, write legibly, and converse in the English language
* Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
* Must have or be able to obtain an Oregon Food Handler or Food Manager Certification or Serv Safe Certification within 30 days of hire
* High school graduate or equivalent preferred
* Oregon State Drivers license preferred
** EXPERIENCE
* ** Dietary Management Class certification or one (1) year experience working with diet therapy.
* Computer / keyboard/typing experience
* Previous participation in nutrition classes/education
