Account Executive (Field Sales) Overview
Do you have a knack for coordinating, organizing, and making connections? Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of others and in the community? We are looking for account executives who are committed to serving our patients with compassion and integrity. As an account executive, you will be responsible for coordinating patient referrals, establishing relationships with local hospitals to secure referrals, and providing education for the community and referral sources on hospice care.
You will work closely with patients and their care team to ensure continuity of care, proper communication, and accurate documentation.
The Hospice Liaison or Account Executive is responsible for coordinating and generating new hospice business in both existing and new accounts, identifying new markets, and maintaining existing services. You will serve as a liaison between the agency, hospitals, the medical community, and other referral sources; educate the community and medical professionals on hospice services; and coordinate care for referred patients. Daily interactions will involve patients, medical professionals, referral sources, and the community to assure continuity and effective communication and documentation.
You will work closely with agency personnel to ensure patient care is handled efficiently and effectively, often away from the employee’s place of business.
- Education:
Minimum of an Associate Degree or proven work experience in a health‑related field. - Experience:
2 years of sales experience in a clinical care setting required; hospice experience preferred. - Requirements:
Reliable transportation; ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 25 lbs. Must be able to bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
