Radiologic Technologist Job Description
- Perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
- Produce high-quality images with minimal repeats while applying safety measures.
- Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their safety and comfort during exams.
- Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and monitor for reactions.
- Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers.
- Handle telephone scheduling procedures.
- Operate the PACS computer system.

Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
- Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
- Basic Life Support certification.
You will work in a 656-bed hospital that includes specialized centers such as The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. The hospital is open to training in specialties and other modalities, offering a great opportunity for those looking to specialize further.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
Company benefits - active first day of the month after 30 days of employment
