• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• MSW from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
• Active member of the National Association of Social Workers is desired.
• The position incorporates clinical social work within the case‑management system.
• The social worker has three main purposes.
• First: patient advocate liaising between patient and medical personnel.
• Second: address emergent needs of patient and family through counseling, education, and brokering community services.
• Third: provide clinical social work services, case management and discharge planning.
• Responsible for assisting in comprehensive bio‑psycho‑social patient profiles, utilizing relevant psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans demonstrating knowledge of the patient's specific needs.
• Ensure discharge planning is appropriate, timely, and communicated to patient, family, and health care team.
