• Supporting the parents of children with intellectual, physical, and behavioral difficulties.
• Assisting and participating in activities that improve the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
• Preparing indoor and outdoor areas for learning or recreational activities.
• Helping children develop social skills through individual support.
• Providing basic physical care and wellbeing support, including toileting and meals.
• Assisting with transportation for activities.
• Communicating with children to support comprehension of basic tasks and information.

• A person-centred approach and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism at all times.
• Experience and relevant qualifications in the disability field are preferred.

• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker’s Orientation
• First Aid/CPR Certificate
• A valid Driver's Licence

At First Step Therapy Services, we provide specialised physiotherapy for children aged 0-18 years. Our team of paediatric-trained physiotherapists is dedicated to supporting children’s unique developmental needs.
