Medical Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide compassionate care while supporting physicians and staff in a fast-paced medical office.

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $18–$21/hour (DOE)

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide compassionate care while supporting physicians and staff in a fast-paced medical office.

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
• Administer injections and medications as directed
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and other routine tests
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow throughout the day
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patients
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the provider
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
• Current BLS/CPR certification
